  My son has been selected to do a bike ride for charity but has had to have a blood test signed off by a doctor by 27th February. The receptionist at Summerlands has refused to make an appointment any earlier than 6th March so he will be unable to participate in the charity ride. He has explained that all he needs is 10 minutes for the doctor to sign off the blood work but rules is rules and the earliest appintment possible is 6th March. Congratulations. You are the only surgery in the country happy to deprive a charity of several hundreds of pounds
